Sometimes you are so pleased with a product you want others to know a great deal. These are my feelings about my recent purchase of the NAXA NX-250 portable MP3 player and radio. It plays regular cds and self-recorded MP3 discs with no problem. The dial is blue and easy to read day or night. It has both a USB port and card slot making it easy to increase data or music selections. My only wish is that the speakers were bigger, but they are adequate for single rooms or in a trailer. I did contact the company about a longer warrenty than 90 days, and they were most kind. They said if I had any problems to contact them and they would assist me with a solution. I wish this company great success. Their product is compact, durable and of great quality. I am looking forward to many years of use and enjoyment.

I have not used batteries with the device, nor have I listened to the radio on it. (Thus the rating.)
I bought it to play mp3 cd's and for that I can say it does a really nice job.

The antenna broke off trying to pull it off but all of theses radios are kinda cheap, but good sound and ease of use for sure, batter life on the radio went 8 days straight in the baking hot ass sun, man was it hot that week end, im still burnt, and peeling, i think i need some more lotion. OWW .

I was doing an extensive search to find a resonably priced CD/MP3 player with a USB port and most importantly headphones. This one has them all, plus radio and memory card slot. I'm extremely happy with the purchase--it is very easy for my kids to handle the unit without any help. The unit offers enough volume to listen to book on CDs and decent effect for music(do not expect the effects of high-end boom box player). NAXA NX-250 packs more than enough goodies at this price-point for my purposes. Highly recommended.
Like other reviewers--I don't like the steep shipping and handling cost.
