I purchased this product as a birthday gift for my grandson long enough before the celebration to allow delivery at the lowest cost. A day before delivery was expected, I received notice from Amazon that they did not have the product and didn't know when they would. I had several telephone conversations with "Customer Service" people. I had found another source, through Amazon, for the product at nearly the same price and asked Amazon to foot the cost of overnight delivery. They covered the cost only partially and reluctantly. The amount was provided in the form of credits against future purchases. I then purchased the item from one of Amazon's vendors who also did not meet their overnight delivery date. They refunded my $76 overnight delivery charge in full. The product arrived 5 days after the first expected delivery date. My grandson -- 3 years old -- likes the product and can use it without assistance.

I was nervous about buying this CD player after reading reviews from this and other websites. However, we have had no problems with it; it has been perfect for what we were looking for. I just wanted a basic CD player to play music at night in our baby's room.

I purchased this for my father who has low vision and hearing problems. He primarily uses it to listen to CD's of his church's sermons. The controls are simple enough that he has been able to quickly memorize how to use them. The sound is loud enough and clear enough for him to hear the CD's well. This is the perfect player for him. Because of his vision problems, it doesn't matter that this unit does not have a digital FM tuner. The tuner works fine for his needs. Again, it has simple controls.
I also like that a power cord is included with the unit and that the power cord does not have a bulky transformer on it.
The CD player has worked flawlessly. No skipping.
So far dad has been very pleased with this player.

Very good rugged CD Boombox. However, it does not play MP3's from a CD. If you read the Specifications carefully it does say that it plays MP3's from another device, but you have to use the input connector. I was trying to avoid having 2 devices to play MP3's.
It does come with an AC cord, the AC cord is nice and not bulky as it does not have one of those large block power adapters on it like some other devices. Just a simple cord. It is 6 feet long.
Device does not play super loud but met my needs to have something portable that's fairly cheap and not that fragile. Here's the Speaker Specs: 2 - 2 inch diameter cone type speakers at 8 Ohms.
Power Ouput: 1 W + 1 W (at 8 Ohms, 10% harmonic distortion)
Device uses 110 Volt outlet or 6 - C Size batteries.
