 Works Great with iPod 3G Touch Model May 2, 2010

I had a hard time looking for an affordable speaker dock that would play with and charge a 3rd Generation iPod touch. In fact several of the Memorex models did not work.
When I saw this unit, I was not sure what to expect. I liked the silver version and the fact it has an FM radio built in. Also liked the fact it uses 4 AA batteries to make it completely portable.
I was even more impressed when I plugged it in. It comes with a small remote control designed to clip onto a belt or bag strap. Also the LCD display has a nice white illumination.
Sound quality is good overall. I did not expect it to be a boombox, but the sound quality is good overall. But most of all its portability and versatility is a plus. It also worked well with a 2nd Gen iPod.

Like another reviewer, we owned this for about 4 months when it stopped playing the iPod music through the speakers. We have a 5th generation iPod Nano that works fine otherwise--so it seems the issue is with the miniMoves. Disappointing.

I have owned this thing foe about 3-4 months. I bought it so I could utilize my iPod more. I am loving this thing! It "lives" on my kitchen countertop so I can listen to music when I'm cooking or cleaning up. I have re-discovered listening to the radio now that I have this. I use my iPod when I remember to get it out of my gym bag. I would never use my iPod with earphones around the house, so my iPod was not really getting used as much as I could. So now I get to hear music whenever I want to.
But when I want to listen to music when my family and I are in the backyard at our pool, I just unplug it from its cord and take it outside. I put in rechargable batteries so I don't have to get annoyed by having to buy more batteries. When I used a 2nd gen iPod, it charged that iPod while the unit was plugged in w/ the adapter. Now that I bought a 5th gen iPod, I don't think it charges my iPod anymore, but that's okay, the 5th gen charges up really fast compared to the 2nd gen.
I haven't had any issues w/ the speaker sound. I wish the remote was a little bit better, but for the price I paid ($33) I really can't complain.

Don't waste your money. I got this unit for my daughter's ipod and here we are not even 4 months later and it will not play the ipod music through the speakers anymore. They are going to send me a new one after I send this one back but I still would purchase a different docking station. Should not have quit working so quickly especially when my kid takes care of her stuff. All it did was sit on her shelf for the last 4 months and get turned on and off each day.
