My grandmother got this for my daughter about a year ago, and it works FINE. The sound quality is great, and at 3 she was able to operate it herself. LOVE IT!

This is a terrible boombox. I bought it for my four-year-old daughter for Christmas, now, four months later it will not even play cds. It has been sitting up high on a shelf, never used as a play toy, never touched by children. It was only used to play cds at night for sleeping music. Now it will not play anything! I admit that boomboxes only last around two years in our house since they are used so much for naptime and night time, but this is by far the very worst product I have ever purchased! Do not waste your money!

We were excited to find this Hello Kitty boom box for our three year old. She loves books on tape and CD from the library. The player was very easy for her to use and had great sound quality. The first one we had lasted only days before the buttons wouldn't work. We exchanged it and the second one is now having the same problems after only a year of use. I feel it was not abused as she only was allowed to use it while we were supervising so that the library materials were not damaged. It just seems to be a poorly made radio. We are disappointed and searching for a better option.

I bought this Hello Kitty boombox to play my baby girl's lullabye cd's and her books on cd. The sound quality is great and the pink color matches her nursery.
